I recently pulled my differential pin out and pulled my axles, I noticed where the differential pin goes the spider gears came out of alignment. Has anyone had this problem with their rearend? I guess the only thing I could do would be to realign them with a screwdriver? Also, if you ever do rear ARP studs, pull the axles and have them pressed in by a machine shop or someone with a press. I completely ruined a set by doing the whole use open lug nut and add washers way.

To clarify - did the spider gears move a bit, not allowing you to slide the pin through them and into the differential itself?

Pressing the studs is the best way. Some people will get away with using the lug nut/washer method, but that's being lazy.
