Rear O2 sensor/MIL eliminator question

I'm in the middle of fabbing up this JBA o/r H pipe to fit my car. The rear O2 sensors hit the trans cross member. Since it's o/r I'm running MIL eliminators. Is there a cap I can plug into the open end of the MIL eliminator instead of the O2 sensor? Then I'd just plug the bungs in the pipe and leave the O2 sensors on the work bench.

If there's no cap (not sure what you'd call it) for the MIL eliminator can I connect the O2 sensors but tie them up out of the way around the transmission cross member and plug the bungs? Or do the O2 sensors NEED to be in the pipe?

Interesting question. You would probably need to cut the plug off the O2 sensor and use it as the "cap" because you will need to install a jumper for the circuit to be complete. I'll attach a link with good info and a general schematic.
