rebuild or replace

So I have a t45 that needs a new 5th reverse shift fork but I can't find one anywhere on the internet so I was thinking of getting new trans unless someone knows a place that has the parts I need or would I be better off getting a tr-3650

Have you asked your ford dealership for a rebuild kit? They sold me one for a t-5, and I just took it too a transmission shop that I trusted since they wanted to use some aftermarket stuff. The kit was under $300 out the door and labor from the trans shop was something close to $500

I did they said the part I need is unavailable and ive found all kinds of aftermarket forks but none for the 5th reverse fork
