I have the Recaros in my 2014. The dealer replaced one of the upper covers under warranty.

When I picked the car up yesterday the dealer said that the way the new cover had been folded meant that there was a crease in the alcantara when it arrived. He offered to get another set if the crease didn't come out.

The leather fits fine and has no creasing, however there is a fold/crease mark in the alcantara on each side of the bolster around shoulder height.

Does anyone know if this will come out with time or I will need to order a replacement?

Given the position of the fold it does not seem like it is under much stress to stretch it out.

You can use a steam iron with a towel between the iron and the seat cover. They use steam and heat to shrink the seat covers as part of the trimming process in seat plants.
