Received Vin # and Build Date Today

Heard from dealer today and received Vin #. I ordered the vehicle on July 5 and it will be built on October 8. Not bad, especially since I was expecting December delivery. Details of the car are:

Sterling Gray Metallic
Black Stripes
Glass Roof
Navigation
Shaker Pro
Heated Seats
Cover

Woo-hoo! Can't wait!

I feel badly for those who have been waiting longer than me, though.

There is another guy that has the same build date. I am just wondering if the VIN is in number sequence?

Congratulations! We have matching cars pretty much. I added the Recaros and the SVT/Track pack. The glass roof option makes the whole car.

We got the call on Saturday got our Vin# and stated week of Oct 8th build cant wait to lay eyes on it!

I also have a build date the week of Oct. 8, according to my dealer (I ordered the car on 8/22). Got my VIN from the dealer today as well. :banana:

Apparently the VIN is not sequential. My build date is Oct 8th and my VIN ends in 0559.

Wow for a July 5th order you have a build date of Oct 8th...that is pretty good. I ordered mine 5 weeks earlier and have a build date of Oct 3rd.

The manager told me that their other order, submitted prior to mine, was for a convertible that has not yet been scheduled to be built. My vehicle is a coupe.
