Hello,

When AM put those stock looking 18x10 inch wheels on sale ( http://www.americanmuscle.com/silver-oestyle-18x10-0511.html ) , I picked up 2.

Now I am trying to find a set of tires. Car is a auto w/ 3.15 and stock converter. Suspension wise the car will be on strange struts/shocks and BMR springs ( once vorshlag ships my plates ).

So far, I have found the following tires that I think will do the job.

NT05 295/45ZR18 - 28.46" tall - $300 ea
Pirelli 285/45ZR18 - 28" tall - $500 ea
Falken Azenis RT-615K 295/40/18 - 27.3" ( matches stock ) - $350 ea

Goals are more traction, meaner look and I don't want the rear tire looking smaller than the front.

Any recommendations etc.... ?
Would the NT05 be too much tire ?

Thanks in advance.

MT ET streets 305/45/18. I bought those same wheels and I think it looks great with the tires on.

Hey OP that's a good question and as much as I'd love to side with Tex on this I would recommend shooting for a Nitto NT555R Drag for you car as I've personally owned them as well as driving on them extensively with some fairly high horsepower cars. My only issue with them like any tire is that when they're cold they're all over the place but once they come up to temperature they're great. Definitely confidence inspiring grip that's not only going to help get the car off the line faster but they're going to help keep it on the road if the car drops a gear coming out of a turn. Let me know if you have any questions and if you don't have our forums discount code shoot me a PM and I'll get you set up!

To bad you can't run a 295/35 , the continental extreme dw are awesome for wet or dry and can be had for $500 a pair . Hook on the street like you wouldn't believe .

Pilot511 haven't pulled the trigger on tires as of yet. I've looked at :

NT555R in 305/40R18
Pirelli PZeros in 275/45R18

Both those are a little bigger that stock.
