He was an actor in three of my top 10 favorite shows, and one of the top two of all time in my opinion (The Wire). I was fortunate enough to meet him at a Delta Club in ATL during a lay over for two hours. I introduced myself without drawing attention, and told him how much I admired his parts in the shows I liked. I was going to leave him alone, but he asked me to sit down and talk with him, then we discussed the Wire and House of Cards for almost an hour and a half. Great guy, and was very down to Earth. Sad to see him go. Lost his battle with cancer.
