removing a leaf and towqing capacity/payload

Hey guys,

How hard is it to remove a leaf(2nd from bottom is what ive heard)

Also how much will this affect towing and payload.

I have a 2000 mustang I would liek to tow every now and again and if i needed to haul something i would like it to still be adequate.

I'm not a fan of removing a leaf. You're much better off buying a set of Hotchkis springs.

Yeah that was the original plan, its just everything ive been researching the same drop is so different on every truck.

I want a mild drop nothing crazy. at the moment im thinking

Hotchkis coils and leaf's 1.5/2.5

remove ISO's and I already have 2" shackles

Throw it on let it settle then maybe cut a little off the coils if need be

Just installing the Hotchkis kit gives the perfect stance IMO.

I concur sid . Mine was done when I bought the truck. It rides and handles very well.
