Removing the mirror glass?

I have a pair of 03/04 cobra mirrors that im needing to get painted. I would like to remove the glass so that they can paint the inside too. But, I cant figure out how to get the glass out of there. How is it done?

The body shop (if you're taking it to someone to get painted) will take the mirror and everything apart to paint the whole housing.

im gonna take it apart before i take it to get painted. I dont trust them. Ive seen shops paint the whole assembly including the black plastic even when the customer told them not to. Ive seen shops paint right over emblems, weatherstripping, and everything...
