I’m in need of some advice. My family and I will be renting a condo for 11 months while our house build gets wrapped up. During these months my plan was to move my safe and firearms into the attached garage but I am finding that majority of renters policies only cover up to $3,500 in totality which is nowhere near the amount I need. This really boggles my mind and I’m starting to wonder if I am going to need to get each appraised.

Any advice or thoughts?

you should be able to get a personal articles policy that covers whatever amount you want. should cover them anywhere as well.

Man, thank you so much. I was able to get a $45,000 Firearms (cover optics, ammo, safe, slings, etc.) for $150 total for the year.

No worries. They tend to be the cheapest. Most people don't know that their home owners insurance doesn't fully cover their firearms.
