Since the previous owners decided to crack the hard line that goes into the lower intake, and then put jb weld all over it......that leaks, I have to remove it and tap it for some sort of 1/2" fitting. I was looking at this: Russell Performance 663070 - Russell NPT to Smooth Hose Adapters
I want to use the factory coolant hose that goes there, which I don't think could make a 90 degree bend to reach a straight barbed fitting, thus, I chose this one with a 45 degree bend. Does anyone see any reason why this fitting wouldn't work? Or any other problems with my idea? And if anyone is wondering, no I'm not doing the coolant crossover mod, mostly because I'm afraid I'd screw up the drivers side and have another coolant leak there to deal with.....:shrug:.
