I am replacing the engine in my 93. It is vibrant red, 11,000 miles and mint. The engine failed due to bad tune and a supercharger. I run a Vortech S Trim. My question is what company do you guys consider the best..IM seriously leaning in the direction of a DSS 347 ci Stroker to run with my Vortech...opinions??

Building my own. Are you going to keep the blower on the car? If so, stick with a smaller displacement

I agree with Lee , a solid 306 would be perfect no need to go wild with a low mileage 93.

You can easily build a 331 with 8.7 to 9.0 compression and be as reliable as a 306, or so I am aware of, thus is why I decided to build my 331 with a blower instead of a 306. I wanted the extra cubes.

Go with the 331. I read in 5.0 (i think) that they built a 347 and a 331 and compared them. It turned out that the 331 made more horsepower than the 347, but the 347 had more torque. I've also heard stories of the 347's not being good for longevity. D.S.S. is a good company, call them up and they will explain anything that you need to know about any stroker.
