For those who went to one of the Track Tours, what is your impression.
While the seat time was short, here is my review. I got a GT350 non R to drive, The seat fit me well, I liked the new telescoping steering column, it was a snap to get into a comfortable driving position. The interior is spartan, Ford claims it is to decrease reflective surfaces. The instructor set the car in sport mode, but I wish the steering would have been a little stiffer, I like to have a little more feedback. Acceleration is great, keep it above 3500 and it is really into the torque curve. Pulling up the hill at Road America, you could feel the umph once you passed 3500. The car tracks right where you point it, even beyond the point where you would normally be facing the other way. The brakes were incredible even considering that we were the third group to hit the track that day. No fade, no surprises, no grabbing. In the limited time I had, I was impressed. When the instructor got done with his hot lap, I was amazed. All in all, incredible bang for the buck.
