Reward program for Ford dealers who hit customer satisfaction targets.

Interesting article, not good for dealers it seems. I guess if this proposal goes thru, prices for ford vehicles will sky rocket so they can recover the lost incentives. Because it appears many dealer depend on the incentives to pay the bills.

McLean, Va., November 15, 2002 – In response to Ford Motor Company’s announcement yesterday that it plans to drastically reduce incentive bonuses for dealers who meet the standards of its "Blue Oval Certified" program— a reward program for Ford dealers who hit customer satisfaction targets— the following statement was issued by H. Carter Myers, III, chairman of the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA):

"a reward program for Ford dealers who hit customer satisfaction targets"

Satisfaction was bypassed by many Ford dealerships when it came to uh-hum Cough "northside ford" Cough Cough when it came to selling `03 Cobras...maybe they all of a sudden forgot the Blue Oval Certified Program goals.
