replace rear caliper last October because it was leaking.
test drive car sometimes its ok, then sometimes rear rims gets smoking hot!
any ideas?
I use ebrake all the time.
drilled vented rotators, ceramic brake pads
could it be a bad after market part? not a ford part.
casting that holds caliper seemed very close to rotater so I spaced with a washer,
this did not help, thought I might a got a GT BRACKET.

Check to make sure the cable is fully releasing. The parking brake cable is not at all well insulated from the elements. Fairly common for them to freeze in place in the winter, but I wouldnt put it past it to have some sort of debris or corrosion causing that caliper to not fully release.

I did not bleed all 4 calipers this first time only the two rear.
is it common practice to do all 4 when you change one caliper?
I believe to properly bleed brake lines you have to do them all as all four corners share the same system

I always bleed the whole system if one is removed. There are just too many chances for air to get sucked into the system. Some will say it isn't necessary, but if you get air in the line towards the end of one caliper and another is clean, it can cause them to be unbalanced in the amount of force that they can create.

INSTALLED ANOTHER REBUILT CALIPER AND RECENTERED BRACKET TO ROTATER WITH A WASHER, HAD BIGGER AXLES INSTALLED 2 YEARS AGO AND THE CALIPER BRACKET WAS HITTING THE ROTATER. NEEDED TO BE CENTERED UP.
