RIP marco. I watched it live this morning on motogp.com. The second time they showed it I knew he didn't make it. It's super hard to watch something like this knowing i want my son to follow my footsteps racing but go further. Best wishes to his family and see you in the paddock in the sky marco.

I really feel bad.
I record every race and I was watching this one last night (sunday) and When the crash happened I was like WTF was that?
It's like he came out of no where and hit the other two racers
Then I saw his helmet fly off and I was like....THis is not gonna end well.
Dam that sucks, and this guy had such great potential.
He was an awesome rider.

Although this is the second race fatality with in 1 week, the last MOTOGP crash was in 2003

Such a terrible accident. I cannot imagine what Edwards and Rossi are going through. :( RIP Super Sic

I just can't figure out why he was cutting across the track at such an acute angle at a corner exit. None of the videos I've seen show exactly how he got in that position.

Regardless, RIP Marco. You'll be missed.

Draggin elbow on the rumble strip. Looks like he started low siding and hung on to it, caught some traction and launched him back towards the inside and right into Colin and Vale's path.

Here's a view from Bautista's cam. Tough to watch.

He never saw it coming or felt it I'm sure. Not a bad way to go IMO especially seeing as how he was doing what he loved. RIP

The look on Rossi's face sums it up. The two were close friends.

RIP Super Sic #58

The reason why I will "never" ride a bike RIP

You had best quit "driving" cars too!
Millions have died from driving cars!!

I will not be surprised if Rossi retires due to this incident. RIP

Doubtful. It is an unfortunate possibility of the sport.
Tragically it tends to take the younger with the most potential.
