Thanks for the nice compliments. I am not a professional racer. I have limited experience but that will change this year. It is hard to tell what they really think. It does get quite a bit of attention but it will always be a bit under estimated in this group of cars. Some realized I was impossible to pass out right and even outbrake because as I attempted to yield a position for a faster car I always made room by getting off the fast line. In doing so I really was not setup to get through the corners fast and ultimately slowing them down as well. It is a bit intimidating but loads of fun. For the spectators in the pits and along the fence it must have been nice because many people stepped out to take photos. I am a easy person to talk to and I am more excited about old Porsches as I am most everything so I ask a lot of questions about their cars also. Some German people even started complimenting my suspension setup. They must have peeked under the car because they were specifically commenting on the adjustable tie rods and hardware for the IRS. They knew more was done but I didn't get a chance to elaborate. All of my friends were proud. I was there with a 2011 Z06, 2011 BMW 135, and a modded C5 Corvette. They were thoroughly impressed. I just have to work on my driving or mix in with a slower group of cars which I hate because these are real amatuers and most are not properly modded for track events (tires and brakes). Maybe I will get lucky next time and drive with fewer cars on the track. Overall I did pretty well and I am sure a GT2 owner will remember our encounter as I was matching his pace. I also had to run down the 911 and the M3.
