rock protection

Any of you guys planning on having your dealer put on that clear plastic stuff that protects the paint from rock chips? Anything bad about it?

I want to use this stuff when driving across the country. Anyone know a brand name for this stuff, what it is called, and where I can pick it up? Someone told me Home Depot may sell it.

My main concern with it is: Does it. over time, cause the paint under it to fade differently than the rest of the car? Is it a better idea than doing nothing? Is it less of a PITA and better looking than a bra (not that anyone has made one for the 03 Cobra yet)?

As for a bra, i would not, they just rub off the paint, i would DEFFINATLY not consider a bra for a bran spankin new cobra..:nono:
