Stab and Steer: ROUSHcharger Now Available for Automatic 2015 Mustangs

ROUSH Performance is pleased to announce that the ROUSH and Ford Performance Supercharger for the 2015 Ford Mustang is now available for vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions. The 2.3L TVS supercharger, when paired to a 5.0L Coyote engine, produces an incredible 627 horsepower and is 50 state legal.

The engineering teams at ROUSH Performance and Ford Performance spent over 18 months diligently working on CAD design, product engineering, testing, engine calibration, and vehicle certification, during which extensive engine calibration mapping was performed to identify and validate optimized spark, fuel, and cam positioning.

“The result is a supercharger system that looks and drives like it came factory installed,” says Justin Schroeder of ROUSH Performance, “Automatics are kings of the dragstrip, and this is an exciting expansion of the kit’s application. Ten second elapsed times should be no problem with supporting ROUSH Phase modifications.”

ROUSH engineers also tested the supercharger system’s durability to a Ford high-performance engine standard so that we can ensure maximum performance and offer an optional 3-year/36,000-mile powertrain warranty coverage. We also test and calibrate under extreme weather conditions – cold starts and drivability at -20°F and hot ambient temperatures up to 140°F at altitude – to ensure that our supercharger systems deliver performance and durability in all 50 states and in all conditions. This is just a portion of the extensive vehicle calibration efforts that we engineer into our products. This Phase 1 system is just the first of three Phases currently in development and durability testing at ROUSH. It is this very supercharger that will exist as the base for the Phase 2 and Phase 3 kits, and is capable of incredible, tire-shredding power ratings of greater than 800 horsepower

so if your looking to just do the bolt on kit
