Can you run a supercharger without a intercooler? Maybe use other means to cool the boost like alcohol or methonal.

with a centrifugal you definately dont need one.

you can run a SC without a aftercooler/intercooler. Im runnin 8lbs on my S trim non aftercooled with zero problems.
What about hot air
Im running 25psi of boost. What about the hot air? isnt hot air bad? I am running a 3 core race intercooler now, but there are a lot of bends in the line. The reason i am asking is because we cannot get anymore boost out of it and a guy I asked said to go straight into the intake and use methanol to cool the boost. He said I would get 2 to 3 psi more boost by doing that. He said you loose alot of boost by going to an intercooler. For racing on the track he said you dont need it. Is all this true or not?

I would use one deffienently on a daily driver but you might not need on just going down the track and of course you might loose 3 pounds of boost but it is a whole lot safer then blowing your sht up.
