short write up on RR from this past weekend. blew up the trans on march 29th. pulled it that night, dropped it to my buddy to rebuild it the next day. he had her built after i sourced some backordered parts from across the country, and stabbed it in on april 6th. tested on the 7th, drove to dallas for the event on the 8th, so not really much time for high boost testing.
last year, the car went 165 on 18#. different motor, smaller turbo.
this year, with the new set up, it went 168 on 17#. when i went to turn it up more, i was seeing what I think was spark blow out, or excessive heat soak due to sitting in the pits forever.
made it to the unlimited class, which ended up shooting me in the foot, since I was one of the slower cars compared to the f1x vettes, TT lambos, etc. but still had a great time.
Learned a lot, collected some data, and will work to get some things sorted now before Texas invitational in a few weeks, and SCT OKC.
