About 10 months ago installed a brand new mcleod rxt clutch and brand new ford slave. Recently its getting harder to put in gear and also it seems like the slave(throww out bearing) is making a sound. Is it necessary to use the mcleod adjustable unit for this clutch? Are the factory units known to not hold up with this clutch? Clutch has anout 18k k miles on it now.

Any help would be appreciated

Easiest to try a re bleed. T O B should not be making a noise. Hopefully you do not drive with your foot on the pedal.

Well for what it's worth I replaced my stock clutch at 19k miles with the McLeod RXT and a McLeod flywheel. I did not replace the factory throw out bearing (Ford said it wasn't necessary) and I've had no issues. I'm currently at 23k (don't drive the car a whole lot). I absolutely love the RXT.
