S&B filter fit K&N FIPK II?

Will the S&B filter (4x9?) that JLT sells work as a replacement filter in the K&N FIPK II?

Am wanting to try this filter due to it having an opening on the top.

Want to see what kind of difference (gain) might be had at the track with the headlight assembly removed and so on....

The K&N replacement filter for the FIPK is "RC-5046". It has a 6" Flange ID & is 9" long. The S & B (10") replacement filter is "R60-09S-(C=Crome,B=Black,Y=Yellow,R=Red,BL=Blue).
