God Almighty I screwed the title of that one up. What I get for playing poker whilst SVTP'ing it up. :bash:

Title was supposed to read: Time for my summer TSB. 3.8, GT's, cobra's-are the condenser's the same? :rollseyes

...anyway, I know the 3.8 will fit, and it's the same fin count-20. That's what I have in mine. (Don't ask)

Am I able to just find any old one with 18 fins per inch?

Here is what cross-references with your car:

Condensor:
Motorcraft # YJ395- 96-98 v6, 96 GT, 96 Cobra
Motorcraft # YJ396- 97-98 GT, 97 Cobra
Motorcraft # YJ462- 98 Cobra (from 11/02/98)

Also remember that when you replace a condensor you should also replace the accumulator/dryer and the expansion block/orifice tube. For your Cobra, the accumulator/dryer is Motorcraft # YF2981 and the expansion block/orifice tube is Motorcraft # YG343.

Hey thanks. So I'm assuming all condensers will fit/hook up physically I just need to get out my ruler and find one with 18 fins per inch or less. My guess is that would be the 396's and 462's.
