S197 Seat front tilt

FNG. After having an 5.0 back in the day I took a long hiatus to drive the most plebian of vehicles whilst I raised kids. Now that the kids are bigger I just picked up a used 2011 5.0 6 speed. The car is very clean but apparently when I bought it via private party I failed to notice the front drivers seat doesn't raise/lower. The motor makes lots of noise but does nothing. The rear works fine, and luckily the front is at an acceptable height. However, it still bothers my OCD. I am almost sure I saw somewhere a fix for the motors but can't find it on the web. Am I ****ed, because I don't want to drop 4 more bills just to tilt my legs up more and buy a whole new seat rack.

I don't have any helpful advice but if that or any of the seat adjust buttons didn't work it'd drive me crazy, my girlfriend and I have very different seat preferences and we both drive it often lol.

On one of the boards, someone took apart a 2011 seat control and figured out how to DIY a repair for just a few bucks. This is apparently fairly common on the early cars.
