I just got my S281 spoiler... inside, the brake light and an empty box. I was told there was a mounting kit... the company that sent me it says my install shoppe should have the 3M tape and the factory mounts should be used. Is this true?

Yep it's true the only hardware I got from them is 2 or 4 small screws.
I'm not sure teh issue. I recall one Cobra owner (it was a white 03) saying he had issues with the install. He worked at a body shop and said he had issues with it... not sure the solution he presented.
