Both cars were bone stock on 100% bone stock rubber. Also, was the first time either of them had run at the track, or so they said. Thought I'd share a little info with you guys (and gals), so here's the numbers they put down:

SRT-4:
60' 2.145
330 5.884
1/8 8.910
MPH 80.71
1000 11.540
1/4 13.741
MPH 102.65

STI
60' 1.845 <-- Impressive
330 5.487
1/8 8.488
MPH 82.04
1000 11.067
1/4 13.249
MPH 104.22

These numbers aren't bad for 4 cylinder cars....

yup, STI is AWD and SRT-4 is FWD. Definitely helps the STI with the launch. But the car pulled pretty hard going down the track too....

I saw a SRT today but there was a Cop behind us at the light so we'll have to want for a another day. After seeing the numbers that these cars ran I'll make sure I don't take it easy on them or I may lose.

just to be devils advocate....how can they be 'decent numbers for a 4 cylinder car' ....when the 4.6L V8 Supercharged, runs similar numbers.

Wow that neon is quick for a FWD car.almost a 103mph.I have watched many of ls1s trap at 103 and have never seen a stock gt trap that high.

because they are lightweight and have overboosted 4s. Running 91 octane in a sti will pull timing and cause you to have one sluggish 4cyl.. Evo is worse.

And they dont run similar #s..
