Obviously, it will take time. But, it will trickle down to more Carbon fiber in the cars and parts we buy.

Not really concerned about "getting my post up".

what will take time, this has nothing to do with gt500's what so ever.

I'm 51 this year; no trouble getting the 'ol post up here, either. ;)

I'm all for carbon fiber parts pre-woven into approximate shape. In the long run, they'll be lighter, stronger, and less expensive than "old-fashioned" machined metal parts. This technology may even trickle into cheap cars like the Mustangs. Problem is though, for future restorers, they'll be nearly impossible to accurately reproduce.
