screaming noise

The Car starts and is drivable but after a minute or so it starts making a load screetching noise that seems to be coming from behind the engine. The car doesnt smoke or leak any type of liquid and I can accelerate with ease. I have no clue what it is. I do not want to assume anything but I need help. I also dont drive it everyday.

Have you opened the hood and looked in there while its running?

nothing rattles in the engine. I can shift gears with no problems.

Do you have a lift, or jack and stands? Or some way you can get under the car and try to pinpoint exactly where the noise is coming from? Does it start doing it when you turn? Does it stop if you push in the clutch pedal?
