Well I've read a couple posts with complaints on the SCT LiveWire which kinda bummed me out since I was looking for one item to consolidate all those gauges into one and it had some awesome features along with being a tuner. The posts I read were SEVERAL months old and I'm curious if SCT has improved upon them any or if they're just just not worth dealing with. I guess I would have to go with the interceptor gauges and an Xcal2 or 3 for my 03 if this is the case?? Any insight would be greatly appreciated and pictures would be awesome as well  :dancenana:

The major issue with mine is the screen. When it gets hot in the truck, if its in the sun, the screen will be very dark and almost un-readable. Other than that,I have no complaints anymore.
Ther are also no mounting solutions right now. Either use the windshield mount,or make your own like I did.

I may end up goin this route then. It never really gets that hot in my truck with the windows tinted and all. Is there any extra that have to be bought to read the A/F ratio or boost?? I was looking into the Interceptor gauges and you have to buy seperate sensors to read boost and wideband o2 on the lightning.

I tried the livewire (I'll sell you one cheap) and think it's a total piece of JUNK!!!

I returned to the XCal II for tuning and purchased a DashDaq to perform the multi guage and datalogging functions. It is a bit pricey but the fact that it has so many built in features makes it a winner for my needs. The built in datalogging is super simple to use and I really like that feature.

What would you say was junk about it?? I read about that DashDaq when I had my GTO but had forgot all about it. Dont need the GPS and all though. And pricey aint the word for it lol. For my needs anyways :rolling:

Show me 15 posts on the livewire? I searched and found one or two with a couple guys complaining about them. BUT they were OLD posts. Seeing how it is a somewhat new product I figured maybe there had been some updates and maybe some people with more recent reviews to see if it had been improved upon. Chill Out.... no need to get your panties in a wad

Dude, first, this isnt NLOC. Second, a little research goes a long way before you ask redundant questions in. Third, livewire has been out for almost 2 years... it is not new, yet you dont see that many people running it, GEE I WONDER WHY?!?!?! Here's to your ineptitude, 30 seconds worth of searching has given AMPLE information.

^You ask people about livewire, they give you your response saying that even though it's a POS, you still want to run it.

^ a two month old post in which NO mention of Livewire (besides the OP) has come into effect, even by a very respectable tuner on this board.

^Here's two pages worth of information.

I used the Livewire and my only complaint was the screen. Always had
adjust the settings for day and night, a little hard to read but mine
was on of the early models. I used a Bracketron mount that mounts
it next the the cupholders and it worked out pretty good.

Again, you must be confusing this site with NLOC. How am I the one that needs to grow up, when YOU had to get someone else to do YOUR OWN research that even a 2 year old could figure out? Second, it's the internet; I did not have a cow. Re-read my post, you're the one with the crap attitude; I merely stated OBVIOUS facts that YOU DID NOT SEARCH LIKE YOU SAID YOU DID, or it was a feeble attempt. Quit crying, if you dont like my attitude, go back to NLOC... Im sure they'd be more than happy to answer your redundant and idiotic questions about irrelevant tuners that only are shiny pieces mounted on your dash.

Dude your the one bitching over a thread that has nothing to do with you  Nobody asked you to come spread your opinion on my searching ability or whether I did or not. And all this talk about NLOC... well what about it? Am I a member there.... NO. I recall looking it up and within a few minutes time I realized it was a shit site. You speak so much of them I think your the NLOC fanboy :lol1: Regardless I got my answer long before you stumbled upon this thread. Everyone else gave me their advice and your the only person who wants to come in here and talk shit. Like stated above I dont see you running in everyother thread asking about pullies and exhausts... Just pull the tampon outta your ass and if the thread doesnt pertain to you then move on.... You say the forum is going to shit like another one (i take it your referring to NLOC since you talk about it so much) well wouldnt you think it be a hell of a lot better with straight information instead of douschebags trashing everyones posts and leaving everyone else to wade through it to find information. A forum is for people to ask questions and find info. Again I apologize i didnt find what I wanted info on and just forced you to post in my thread but hey its life. If you were so great yourself you wouldn't be trashing me for asking for simple opinions in one consolidated thread that may possibly help out people with future questions

Are you honestly as dim as your posts? I feel like Im talking to a kid, not an adult. Grow up and come back when you're able to form coherent paragraphs that DO NOT contradict yourself inside of them. You are the one looking like the fool for carrying this on like it's your personal goal to attempt to flame me with incoherent babble spewed from someone on a playground... besides that, do you actually know where tampons go? Insult me all you want, it is clear that you are a scourge of useless hot air attempting to be funny, but low IQ's and keyboards are an obvious mix of disaster for you.

Like I suggested before all your weak insults, do a little research. It goes much further for people to HELP in a forum if you do some homework first... afterall, that's what the SEARCH button on the top of this page is used for.

It is obvious that reading comprehension eludes you, and I wouldnt suspect if this is the first time you heard this. Nor would I expect you to come up with anything less than the stellar repertoire of comebacks that you have so eloquently put forth.

Last time I checked, you did not own this forum, nor the internet... so any logical person would realize that anyone can post on the crap spewing forth the steel trap you deem a brain. Hence the thought process that this is NOT "your" thread. Logic dodges your thought process doesnt it?

Now, you undoubtedly will post something to save your manhood, don't. Next time you attempt to put together a coherent train of thoughts in that foggy mist of intellect, you may remember this thread and do a little homework first. It was fun watching you have a conniption fit over a post, maybe you should heed your own advice and "dont have a cow."
