If I can send whomever buys this some advice, do not send anything except the unit back to sct. I sent everything on mine and got no cables back. They then tried to charge me for one.

SCT is very clear about telling you to send only the unit. No cables. No packaging. Turnaround is quick. Customer service is very good. Their fee is $150 and includes return shipping.

Doesn't the vehicle have to be flashed back to stock in order for SCT to unlock? and was that done ?

No, if the vehicle was flashed back to stock then no unlock would be necessary. It would already be unlocked and ready for the next vehicle.

In this case the car was sold with the tune but the handheld did not go with the car.
