While puting the back seat back in my car I pulled the seat belts out of the box I had them wrapped up and stored in and wasn't paying attention and allowed both of them to suck the belts all the way in. Now neither of the belts will come back out... So I took the plastic cover off of one of the mechanisms to see if I could move the little locking peice so it would slide open, but I couldn't figure it out so I put it the lil cover back on. :bs:

Anybody have experience with seatbelt reels??? Do you think if I took them into a dealer they could fix them for a price, or would just try to sell me new ones (not needed)?:rollseyes

lol they are removed from the car though...so that won't fly. It's my fault for sure... So do you think a dealer would be able to fix them even??? My ford service manual doesn't make mention of unlocking the belts when fully retracted. In fact, the manual calls for replacement of the belts.
