How much lighter is the CF hood than stock? What's the quality like? are the hood pins necessary as a backup for the stock latch?

Define "Not the greatest"? Is it something we could paint and look fine, or are there creases and such in the surface?

still intereted?

I would love to take it off your hands, but the motor started ticking and we need to sort that out before we do any body mods :(

If it's still around this spring we'll probably pick it up, but if someone offers you a fair sum for it take the money and run :)

So if it was painted and filled the holes could I still use the stock hood latch? Or do I have to use hood pins regardless? I definitely want to pick this up but Im not too fond of hood pins. :-D
