Any suggestions on shipping front and rear seats from my Cobra. I put them in a large box and on a pallet here at work and got a couple of truck freight quotes ranging from $550-$750.
There has to be a more realistic price for shipping. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Brian, Make sure that you are using your employer's shipping account number to get the rate. Most businesses have a discounted/negotiated rate with the LTL freight companies. For example, I use NewPenn and my discount is 55% off of the quoted/standard rate. Also, make sure you use a class "C60" to describe your freight, it's usually cheapest...Hope this helps.

Thanks guys. I got a 40% discount from FedEx freight but they were the highest at $750. All places I checked classed the seats at class 250. Would shipping them class C60 cause any problems if there were a claim against them?
Has anyone shipped seats with UPS, maybe in a couple of boxes, or does this come out about the same?
