Shift light signal wire

After searching Im still confused, will a cheap stand-alone 3 wire Ebay shift light work on an 02 GT if I run it to the #26 Lg/Wh pin?

Or would I need a tach adapter?
I realize the Raptor setup is better, just on a very tight budget.

You need a tach adapter. The raptor has it built into it. I have a autometer tach adapter i would sell.

I decided to just do it right the first time and be done with it, gonna order the Raptor.
