As a huge advocate against violence towards women, I don't know how or why I find these commercials to be slightly comical.

Yea we all know guys just choke out bitches cause they spilt coffee on us... The commercial's intentions are good but it was definately written by a women. By blowing everything out of proportion as it did it caused a response in which it was intended to cause. I'm by no means supporting domestic violence in anyway, but this is just a bit over the top of reality for the situation that was created. :shrug:

Well it is kind of comical.....but its a very serious situation.....its blown out of proportion but many women are assaulted and abused in there homes

im not saying you condone abusing women at all, don't take it the wrong way, im just saying, dont think that everyone has the same respect toward women that most of us or people you know might, there are those assholes who will beat their wives "just because", and if they get coffee spilt on them, their wives are getting a double beating

if theres people who molest and kill children, theres sure as hell people who beat women over nothing, as sad as it is

I posted these a year or so ago. They are from Alberta (In Canada). They were deemed too voilent for a commercial so didnt make the airways but made the rounds on the internet soon after. I actually wished they did put them on TV regardless.

the videos are about a serious, non-funny topic. but the way the first one was filmed was pretty funny. without the swearing and spouse abuse info at the end of the video, this could easily be something out of s.n.l.
