I emailed Whipple and the gen 4 should be released in the April/May time frame. I don't know anything beyond that. It was mentioned in one of the videos Lethal Performance posted not too long ago.I keep seeing Gen 4 2.9 yet don’t see anything on Whipple. Seems like the gen 3 just came out. What’s the story?

No kidding? No details at all? Maybe just a revised rotor pack? Still seems weird to have a 3 then 4 within what, a year? Maybe the damn thing will come with an inlet that’s bigger than a factory Eaton without having the huge crusher...

That's Dustin and his team, brother! Never satisfied and always reaching higher! The gen 4 2.9 is no joke. The jump of power and lower IATs from the gen 2 2.9 to the gen 3 2.9 was enough...added power was just a bonus. But yet again...Whipple continues to raise the bar! Gen 4 2.9 is where it's at! New rotor pack and a port to match.I just talked to Lethal and according to them it's a more efficient rotor pack. That the same pulley combo should give another PSI or 2 over the gen 3. Guess I should post in the What did you do for your Terminator thread now.....

Damn I just asked them lol. Thanks brother.
That’s crazy so that’s like 4psi over a gen 2.
Wonder what engineering breakthrough occurred or how they missed it on gen3

Man, you can have a local company build a driveshaft same day. No need to wait weeks for that. I had Proven Force in Maple Grove make mine, same day service once I gave them a measurement. It's getting close now. The driveshaft had a 3-4wk lead time. Next week is 3wks since ordered. I'll call them tomorrow for an update. Some very minor thing left to sort out and then it will be hitting the rollers. View attachment 1565162
