[Eric03Cobra]

Has anyone purchased the shop manual for there 03 cobra yet?

I thought I'd seen that it was offered on either CD or DVD as well as Paperback. Anyone know about this?

I still havn't even got my blasted Owners Manual that's supposed to come with the car. Only thing I got at pick-up was load papers and the dealer telling me that SVT would send me everything.

dealer gave me all my owners manuals with a nice zipper cover with SVT embroidered on it.
Svt will send you a certificate after the entire year build is over.

Check Ebay, there are alot of the DVD manuals listed on there.

:coolman: I bet it you just took out the 03 Cobra parts, you could fit it on a regular cd. For your own backup purposes of course..

And I bet you'd be willing to hold a copy for me...kind of like an off-site storage

We'll see what happens once I get the DVD and figure it out.

I've worked with computers for a long time, and know the importance of off-site disaster recovery contingencies. I am willing to hang on to a copy of that, for your peace of mind. ;-)

Shop Manuals

I've gotten manuals from Helm for a long time,they are the manufacturers official books,always very complete. This time I thought I'd try the CD,at about half the price.I'm not impressed and It's not cheap at almost 200.00 Next time I'll buy the book.Just my opinion..........

I just got the 2003 Mustang and Cobra Helm manual.
It cost $136.00 but it is awesome.

Hi NorCalRedfire, FCS2129303 is the right number for the Helm
repair manuals, but there are two volumes to it.You don't just get
one manual , but two for $136.00.

What 2 volumnes? I have the 03 Ford Mustang Service Manual from Helm and it is 1 big thick service manual and it includes the Cobra. It is #FCS-12193-03 printed 11/02 and is just about 2+1/2" thick. Did Helm cheat me? I paid the same $136.00 plus shipping. Please let me know so if need be I will get on the phone to Helm on Monday. Thanks

Hi Sonic Blue 2003, I called Helm Inc. for the 2003 Mustang-Cobra
repair manual. They told me it is in two volumes.They sent me a
2003 Mustang Workshop repair manual and a 2003 F-150 Wiring
diagram manual. I called back and said where is my second
manual?, and said, you sent me a truck manual with my big 2 1/2
inch repair manual. They said send back the truck manual and that
they were sending out my 2nd Mustang volume.
So I guess there are two volumes for your $136.00
I will probably get my 2nd volume about Friday.

My guess is the second volume might just be a revised section or eratta. My 94's manual came with a thin ~30 pg section updating the info on some vacuum system thing I never needed.
