For what its worth SHO people, here it is. I have been a SHO enthusiast since 1996 when I bought my first 89 SHO. I really loved that car. After the first SHO I bought a 93 ATX. Drove it for a year then sold it to my 18 year old son for his first car. The 93 is still going strong with 180K. I then bought a 96 SHO for my wife and a 97 SHO for myself. But things change... I use to go to the SHO forum until a made a comment once about how I thought it was wrong to replace the blue oval Ford badge with the bootleg Yamaha badges. Started a big flame so I just never went back. I personally thought the SHO scene was getting a bit too ricy! Present day: Traded in my 97 SHO for a 96 Cobra. I'm not trying to disrespect any of you SHO people but the speed diference between my old 89 SHO and my 96 Cobra is like night and day. I still love the SHO's (washed & waxed the 96 today) but if some of you are ready for a big change, get a Cobra. Used ones are very affordable now. On a side note: As I'm sure most of you SHO people know, aftermarket parts for the SHO's are a real joke. Before long you won't even be able to get new valve tappet shims only used ones. The SHO shop prices are ridiculous. The best thing about getting the Cobra is that there are tons of aftermarket products.
