Shotgun shopping

Looking for a nice looking shotgun something like this

any good ideas and what the best gauge to get 12,20 or 410 . just really for home defence and shooting every now and then . :burn:

I have a few guns ,but its pistols and rifles, not too in the know about shotguns

:edit: I like the Mossberg 590 and I have a Winchester youth model. Get a 12 ga. go with an 870 or one of the tactical mossberg models.

I only have the one Winchester. Overall it seems that the Remington 870 is the gun to go with.

Rem 870 or Mossberg 500 are the standard go-to pump guns. Get a 12 ga for the ubiquitous ammo choices, and pick whichever model you get a better deal on. They're both good guns.

Just so you know, that link is only for the stock. That looks like a stainless 870 with an aftermarket mag extension, heat shroud and folding stock.

the Navy uses Mossburg 500s onboard ship.. they compliment the M-16s and M-14s that are carried onboard as well..

just got a Mossberg semi auto 12 guage 930 from dicks sporting for $430 comes with 2 butt stocks and 2 barrells (bird and slug) and a cheap scope with weaver mounts.

+1 for a cheap reliable shotgun it's impossible to go wrong with either of those.
