Thank you

I wanted to thank you for the thought of others during this time. I just spent the last 10 years in the Marine Corps and I know that I would love that if it was sent to me.

Great idea , and way to support our service personnel. I routinely send in money to the USO, and now is a great time to help our guys/gals by a little extra from home.

Thanks for posting this!!

The sacrifice that the men and woman of the Military make is unreal. It never seemed a big deal to me until I had my son about 15 months ago. To think of being on deployment for 6 months and miss him growing up is hard to take. Not to mention being away from your wife/husband. God bless all of them.

Being a veteran and having been "over there" myself, I can tell you, it's not pretty. Hopefully, the job will be done soon and short of American (or allied) casualties. God Bless America and watch over us all.

:bash: the terrorists and all enemies and come home safely...

I got this from a friend who is a career military officer. God Bless our US armed services personnel EVERYWHERE.

I want you to close your eyes and picture in your
mind the soldier at Valley Forge, as he holds his
musket in his bloody hands.

He stands barefoot in the snow, starved from lack
of food, wounded from months of battle and
emotionally scarred from the eternity away from
his family surrounded by nothing but death and
carnage of war.

He stands though, with fire in his eyes and victory
on his breath. He looks at us now in anger and
disgust and tells us this...

I gave you a birthright of freedom born in the
Constitution and now your children graduate too
illiterate to read it.

I fought in the snow barefoot to give you the
freedom to vote and you stay at home because it
rains.

I left my family destitute to give you the freedom of
speech and you remain silent on critical issues,
because it might be bad for business.

I orphaned my children to give you a government
to serve you and it has stolen democracy from the
people.

It's the soldier not the reporter who gives you the
freedom of the press.

It's the soldier not the poet who gives you the
freedom of speech.

It's the soldier not the campus organizer who
allows you to demonstrate.

It's the soldier who salutes the flag, serves the flag,
whose coffin is draped with the flag that allows the
protester to burn the flag!!!

"Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and
their families for the selfless acts they perform for
us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of
Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

Het Stanger58, and all the others that posted, that really means alot to me. Im in the USAF over in the Middle East right now and it always make me feel good when a total stranger appreciates what our military is doing 24 hrs a day. In the last year I have been away from my family for 6 months and counting. Cant wait to get back and thrash my Lightning.

Thanks alot!

Bubba
