I have this tuner installed in my 2011 GT which used to have an OEM sat radio tuner, but I had to replace it because I went with a idatalink/maestro/kenwood navi setup.
The installer tried to plug the OEM sat radio antenna that is mounted on the trunk lid to the sat radio tuner, but it needed some work to make them fit (plugs in loosely). Unfortunately, the resulting reception is poor and I am always losing signals under all conditions.
The installer says there is no choice but to install another sirius sat radio antenna on the roof...? :nonono:
Can someone please tell me there is a better way?
