What's the general consensus on the 03's skidpad numbers?

I've seen a couple.

I believe they are probably low .90G. The rear-end on this thing is awesome especially give its roots with a solid rear axle. The front-end still sucks. I would say with a tubular k-member, modified tubular A-arms, coil-over, Caster/Camber plates, subframe connectors, and strut tower brace this thing will easily exceed 1.0G. Griggs is supposedly making a SLA system which would make this car handle awesome.

Road and Track gave it a 0.9g skidpad, but I believe that about as much as I believe in Santa Claus as they drive like my mother.

I also saw a 0.96g somewhere but can't remember where.

I forget the Car and Driver number.

IMO the front end of this is phenomenal. Compared to my 95 GT it is so much more willing to rotate that its ridiculous. I've seen zero sign of pushing or plowing.

I would agree it is definetly more neutral then previous models. But turns at high speed are still not as undramatic as I would like.

For as front heavy as this car handles very neutral in turns. This is in comparison to my old '90 GT which plows like a John Deere. Seriously I've had the tail break out a few times taking corners and it's pretty predictable and easy to get it back in. The car just plain feels tight in the twisties, not as much roll as other stangs I've been in.

Yep :coolman: it describes the cornering abilities of my old GT perfectly.

Sure. 1.05g sounds good. I'll be sure to quote now:

"Written sources are reporting 1.05g"

What course? Hope thats not the Carlsbad Straightways...
