I changed my clutch (2010 to newer 2014) and was thinking of putting in the 2014 GT500 clutch master cylinder that I bought a year or two ago. I remember installing the metal head on my current 2010 clutch master cylinder and I have an extra head. Will this same head (with setscrew) work on the 2014 unit? If so do I have to break off or cut the existing plastic pedal head? I remember this part was expensive and hard to get so I don't want to screw it up before I even get it installed. Anyone do this on the 2014 clutch master cylinder or should I leave it as is and install it??

Removed the plastic head with cutters and installed the metal head (Ebay sells them). Same size knurled end as the 2010 master cylinder. Installed the 2014 unit in the 2010 with no fitment issues. Worked well.
