SLP LM Catbacks & Rust

I think I remember hearing that the hangers on the SLP catbacks have a tendency to rust. Anyone experience this?

I'll be putting my Bassani X and SLP LM cat back on tomorrow and was wondering if there was anything i needed to do. I thought about buying rust preventative paint and spraying the hangers, but I don't know if that'd burn off or not.

You could get the high temp stuff for the hangers, I doubt even regular paint would burn off the hangers though

Maybe some mild surface rust, but it is so little, if any, that I haven't noticed it.

Havent had any on mine yet, been on 4 years in VA and GA.
