It was so hot, I could see the heat. I couldn't keep my hand on the rim for more than a second. The rotor has a glass finish:nonono:

I just greased up the sliders a month ago, as one of them was seized. I think the damage was already done to the caliper though. I changed the rear pads at the time and the piston took all I had to rotate back into the caliper. But the passenger side, I could have rotated by hand (not literally, but you get the idea).

Gonna buy a new caliper and new rotors for the rear this weekend. Can I use the pads I have now? They are maybe a month old, I have been babying them since i put them on.

I think I will get new pads with the rotors just to be safe. There are some good deals out there that include new pads with new rotors. Thanks guys.
Bleeding brakes are in my future! FTL
