How many miles are on that clutch assembly?...Just some of the wear and tear that occurs with this much HP i assume? Thanks for the insider's view.

I'm going to try to save as much money as possible and cut down on this list if possible. Is this what you were thinking? :)

This is the second clutch. Although I've had the SPEC unit here, I opted to completely kill the stock clutch before putting it in.

That made me feel a little bit better. I wouldn't want to be replacing a clutch a year if I went up to your hp level.

How many drag launches do you figure it took to do that?

I think that I've made 50-60 passes on this setup with atleast 430rwhp.

Can you look at your old factory pressure plate and tell me if it has three sets of straps which attach to the cover with rivets, the portion of the pressure plate which attaches the drive to the driven section of the plate, and more importantly does each set of straps have three metal strips per set? I am considering a Centerforce pressure plate and I want to know if the pressure plate is up to par with the factory pressure plate. Thanks

I opted to keep the factory F.Wheel till I passed 550 rrwhp.Now at 715 I have a unit from SHM which is really strip.I think in traffic(bumper to bumper) I would have to pull over.Dave S.
PS 0 miles on it but allegedly according to Sean nuke proof and if you buy one beware it is a prototype and I'm the test mule.Dave

Hey mj, any tips for clutch R&R? I'm assuming you are doing this yourself. I'm going to swap out my TOB next weekend and I'm looking for any pointers. I don't want to find any surprises along the way. =)

Hey mj I was wondering if the tranny seperates from the bel housing or is it like the t45's
