Heck, the engine has to be worth $10K or more unless it was damaged... then take all the other parts which are still good... it would certainly be worth $15K to an existing owner just to have the spare parts!

When JM (SDW) showed me this auction I did a little case study based on the pictures in the listing and my ADP estimating software. Again all based on what could be seen only, I'm estimating some additional frame rack time, but did not include that in my cost to repair, not without seeing it up close and in person.

Parts/repair: $23,856.98 (what an insurance company would pay a shop to repair)

Paint: $3,800


Grand total: $27,656.98

ADP (Audatex 10/08 update): shows this as 70.3% of it's market value making it an insurance company wipe...........
