Level 5 halfshafts (group purchase possible?) ported polished blower.

Dude,

Now's the time to buy the Level 5's no group purchase necessary, due to a price war going on. They are down to $1370 shipped from D'Agostino or RWTD!! Don't miss out.

Looking to get new rims and tires. Also will get 3/8 in spacers.

Will also like to look into getting more info on the hesitation between shifts. I was told it is the fuel preasure thing that keeps it preasurized. I believe people have unhooked these. Would like to know how this is working out?
I only have a few mods done-Borla cat back, K/N cold air, and a tune by Pete.

i tihk your thinking the opposite way around man. spool's are noisy and loud at low speeds on the street. plus they will chew up axles from the slow turning. no need for a spool in an auto anyways..at least at my level

i'm not gonna. at least for next year. i decided i dont want a cage in it or slicks. my goal for this car when i got it was to maske it a 10 second street car on drag radials that i can drive daily if i want to. i was considering a roll bar and slick about a month ago but i decided against it.

i havent run either, but i heard of the detroit lockers locking and ratcheting in turns, just passing along information.

this winter im putting a spool in my car, ill see how i like it come spring.

none the less, your car is bad ass. i wish my old man would do some more stuff to his cobra!

yes the locker you will hear noise too but it still retains the street manners for driveability. the spool only makes noise at slow speeds and slow turns. you will notice more wear, faster in your tires i hear too....

Jake, I thought maybe I'd see a KB 2.6 blower on your wish list?

Jake, the automatic would be so cool for racing, but HorsepowerbyHerman
had a turbo Cobra then sold the turbo and put on a new KB and said the
turbo just doesn't respond at lower rpm's like the blowers do. Mine kicks
in real good now with the 293/4# combo.

My car goes into storage in two weeks. It will come out once to get a Torsen T2R, and some new bushings for the IRS. Then back into storage...

Then a fresh set of V710's and I'm good for the season, starting in April..
