So who has busted a stock input shaft?

just curious who actually has busted or bent one?

What can the stocker really hold up too on a non stock clutch?

I personally witnessed a bone stock car on F1's break a halfshaft.
It barely hopped too, but just enough to break it.
Car was midway through 1st after launching at idle when it went.

point is there is no magic number where they break, it is kind of random but usually related to wheelhop. Click my *MODLIST and go down to the red pill, read it all.

Did u mean inputshaft? Cause you wrote halfshaft....

Doh, and I aint even drunk yet, bad sign.

I saw input shaft but wrote halfshaft story. I also know of a guy who broke an input shaft stock. Moderator here, JB, not sure what clutch he was running. About 500 is where they go from my studies.

Just to muddy the waters even more, I broke my output shaft on a stock motor and F-1s. Took the trans. housing and driveshaft with it.

Ouch!!!! I'm going to have my solid rear put in soon but I guess i'll wait to take it to the track untill I get a new clutch and input shaft.

Its time for me to get a good clutch, and im debating as to whether or not i should get the input shaft now as well? I figure its probably the best move.. Not cost effective, but best move none the less.

I broke my 10 spline in two. I did dump the clutch at 6k also.
